There is a worn cliche that says "You are what you eat"... but it is more true today then ever before.
Far too many citizens spend far too much of their income on what may be unnecessary tests, ineffective but expensive drugs, and expensive (and invasive) medical procedures. Would it not be more wise to attempt to eliminate the CAUSE of ones problems?
The typical American menu includes mostly processed foods that contain unhealthy substances and pieces and parts of substances that you would not expect find in food or drink. They may also can contain herbicides, pesticides, PCB's, dioxins, trace amounts of antibiotics, trace amounts of deadly heavy metals, preservatives and more. However... this commentary will only focus on THREE substances, and the pieces and parts/breakdown components of them, as relates to the products that incorporate those substances. GOT OBESITY? New report (The CBS Early Show - WED 12 Dec. 2001): The number of overweight Blacks and Hispanic children rose over the past 12 years by 22%. Overweight whites grew by 12%. Focus on the typical American diet AND school breakfasts/lunches... that are loaded with excess milk and dairy provided by the taxpayer via the USDA. Their parents gained weight, too! Look around you (or perhaps just in a mirror) and notice the large number of obese citizens waddling down the street. Several news reports have stated that over half of Americans are significantly overweight. This focus is the most important of the "you are what you eat" commentary. ONE pound of fat is around 3500 calories. Doing a 10 inch high step on a step box will only burn around 7.2 calories per minute. Walking slightly up hill at 2 miles per hour will only burn around 3.2 calories per minute. The typical American diet contains up to 39% of calories from milk and dairy... (including pieces and parts of it). Read cowparts.txt and milkinfo.txt. For a fairly complete list of problems that stem from milk, visit NOTMILK.com Most Americans consume milk and dairy products. Whole milk is 49% of calories from animal fats. "2%" is 34%, "1%" is 28%, and even "skim" is still 5% of calories from animal fats. It takes ten pounds of fatty, hormone and toxin-laced cow's milk to make ONE pound of 74% of calories from animal fats CHEDDER CHEESE. It takes 12 pounds of milk to make one pound of ice cream, and 21 pounds to make one pound of 100% fat butter. Contrast this whole milk fat content to the MEAT with the most fat.... hamburger. The worst I have ever seen is 30% fat (shrinks too much) and perhaps the most used is 88% lean (only 12 percent fat). Now... add to that 9000 aspartame-laced products (the majority aimed at youth) with methanol that breaks down to formaldehyde... a toxin/carcinogen that gets stored in the fat, and the causes for obesity should begin to come into focus. Perhaps just as important... the onset of diabetes is closely related to obesity (and for many diabetics the cow protein lactalbumin was a key player in acquiring diabetes mellitus). GOT MEMORY PROBLEMS? Abandon anything that contains aspartame (Equal/Nutrasweet) or monosodium glutamate (MSG). Aspartame is in over 9000 products, and MSG, with 30 different names, is in most processed foods. Both are "excitotoxins"... chemicals that excite and therefore burn out brain cells before their time. You might ask, "Will this reverse my memory loss?" to which I must state a resounding "NO!"... but it WILL slow or stop further unnecessary degradation.
GOT ARTHRITIS? Abandon everything with aspartame in it. You will have your answer within 60 days (typically 4-5 weeks). The cow protein casein, a powerful mucus trigger, can also factor into both osteo and rheumatoid arthritis. GOT ASTHMA? Eighty percent of the protein in cow's milk and dairy... consists of a substance called casein. It is best used as a glue... a binder. In humans it triggers histamines (which create mucus)... for which folks spend billions each year for antihistamines to get rid of the congestion. GOT DIABETES? The cow protein lactalbumin has been fingered as having a significant role in the development of diabetes mellitus. The world famous Dr. Benjamin Spock shocked the medical world years ago by stating that no child under the age of one should consume cow's milk. That is now standard advice. About the time Dr. Spock published his last book he expanded that to "I no longer recommend dairy products after the age of 2 years. Other calcium sources offer many advantages that dairy products do not have". Aspartame is known to make diabetes worse (and there are respected doctors who say aspartame can precipitate it), along with being able to keep blood sugar levels out of control. Aspartame is also a key player in eye problems that may be misdiagnosed as diabetic retinopathy. GOT CANCER? Thousand of things cause cancer (and their are a few in aspartame such as formaldehyde from the breakdown of the 10% methanol, and formic acid from the breakdown of the formaldehyde). Ususally present are scores of toxins (herbicides, pesticides, PCB's, up to 200 times the safe levels of dioxins), heavy metals (such as strontium 90 from nuke testing, lead from paints, mercury from a wide variety of appliances including dental amalgam), etc. ... visit OSHA for a more complete list.) Cow's milk and dairy can have concentrated anything the cow ate... but whose liver could not easily dispose of. But the BIGGIE is a cow hormone labeled "Insulin-like growth factor ONE" (IGF-1) which happens to be identical between cow's and humans. Think of this one hormone (of 59 in milk and dairy) as "PLUG AND PLAY CANCER FUEL". I have been off all milk and dairy for several years, and my terminal prostate cancer now grows over three times more slowly. GOT HEART DISEASE? If a doctor told you that, to be healthy, you MUST consume 52 slices of bacon every day (for the cholesterol) you would most likely brand him an ignoramus and perhaps even a quack. If that same doctor insisted that you MUST consume THREE EIGHT OUNCE GLASSES of a substance containing 49% of calories from animal fats... you would most likely file a formal complaint against that doctor. Guess what! Most doctors DO tell you that you MUST consume that... and more. Most doctors insist that every human consume THREE GLASSES OF COW'S MILK A DAY... for the calcium, if nothing else. By the way... that CALCIUM disinformation is the dairy industries biggest LIE! It should not be difficult to figure out why heart disease is American's number ONE killer... prematurely terminating over 700,000 lives this year while emptying many bank accounts.
It took over 50 years for the truth to be known about tobacco. For aspartame it has taken almost 20 years, and after over 70 years we are still working on cow's milk and dairy. Most of the victims of food disinformation don't have that much time left to await the truth via their government. For those world citizens who have problems listed in the TOP TEN leading causes of death would it not make sense to try the prime concept for aspartame, MSG, and milk and dairy...
